An agency built by intelligence veterans on one discipline: evidence first, opinion never.
Our Story
Tehkikaat — from the Urdu tehqiqat, meaning investigation — began in 2009 in a two-room office in Rajendra Place, New Delhi, with a single client: a mother who wanted the truth about her daughter’s suitor. The police had no time. The family had no options. We found the truth in eleven days.
Founder Rajveer Malhotra had spent fifteen years in Military Intelligence, and he built the agency the way he was trained to work: methodical, documented, deniable to no one. Word travelled the way it always does in India — from family to family, lawyer to lawyer, boardroom to boardroom.
Today Tehkikaat runs four offices, a forty-strong investigation force, an in-house cyber forensics lab and a research cell that can trace a fact through any registry in the country. We have closed over 4,800 cases — matrimonial verifications, corporate frauds, missing persons, insurance claims — and our success rate stands at 96%.
What has never changed is the first rule painted behind the founder’s desk: “Evidence first. Opinion never.”
The Code
Your identity, your case and even the fact that you consulted us stays sealed. NDAs are standard on every engagement, both directions.
No phone tapping, no hacking, no trespass, no impersonation. Evidence gathered outside the law is worthless in court — and we build for court.
We report what the evidence shows — not what you hope or fear to hear. A clean report is as valuable a finding as a damning one.
Nothing we do can ever be traced back to you. Cover integrity, secure communication and evidence custody are drilled into every operative.
Leadership
Founder & Chief Investigator
A veteran of Military Intelligence, Rajveer founded Tehkikaat in 2009 after fifteen years in uniform. He has personally led over 900 investigations, including some of the agency's most sensitive corporate and matrimonial cases, and still reviews every major case file before it is closed. His rule for the agency: evidence first, opinion never.
Director — Corporate Investigations
A chartered accountant who spent a decade in forensic audit at a Big Four firm before switching to investigation, Meera leads the corporate desk. She has unravelled payroll frauds, vendor kickback rings and two nine-figure embezzlements, and trains our field teams to read a balance sheet as fluently as a surveillance log.
Head — Cyber Forensics Lab
Arjun runs our digital forensics lab and holds CHFI and CEH certifications. From recovering deleted chats that saved a custody case to tracing a ₹4-crore investment scam across three crypto exchanges, he believes every device tells the truth eventually — you just have to know how to ask.
